Do You Find This Toy Dog Scary?

P1010247 - Copy

Why do you think some dogs bark and growl at this toy dog?

I take two stuffed dogs to some of my canine workshops. Dogs never look twice at the larger husky, but many dogs bark and even growl at the stuffed basset hound.

Can you guess why some dogs dislike the smaller stuffed dog? Everyone who responds with a comment below this post will be entered into a random drawing to win a copy of my book, Grow Young with Your Dog

Why do dogs ignore the larger husky and bark at the smaller stuffed animal? Why is one toy benign and the other off-putting to some dogs?

I’d love to hear why you think the basset hound bothers some dogs.  And don’t worry if you just take a wild guess.  You could still be our winner!   In a subsequent post, I’ll let you know what theories people offer and my thoughts on the subject too.  So please stay tuned!  Thanks so much for playing.
